Q69: After Earth?
Question 69:
“What do you imagine would happen if the planet Earth suddenly ceased to exist? What do you imagine would happen to the billions of souls in physical forms using it at present?”

I am very sure , we all will be resting in the safe arms of our dearest Amma, Amma will take care what has to be done, how and when, so i think, for me no need to imagine if earth really ceases to exist
My first reaction to the question is an amazement at the fact that all Human’s glory, collective ego and illusions/concepts could physically simply disappear in one second. A real mega-cleaning-blessing it would be! Now what will happen to the souls? Simple: Like for individual deaths, a feeling of freedom + there will be no more possibilty to come again in the physical earthly forms… so, if they need to work out more stuff, they’ll go to other forms some other places in this universe
The bodies would die, but we would all be in the safe, loving arms of Amma.
Unmesha Nimisholpanna Vipanna Bhuvanavali …… Amma, who can create and distroy the galaxies in a split second can only answer this question. Amma Sharanam.
On two levels comes the answer…
1) for us ordinary souls that identify with their birth and body as real, it would be a blessing as this tapas world is gone and you are again beginning another birth in some loka or world.
2) for the one who has suddenly transcended all; that the last seed of thought is burned to a crisp and blown away, by their Guru’s grace; there is the absolute awareness that EVERYTHING beheld by the sense organs is not real and does not exist anymore, for it NEVER existed.
Both situations are bliss filled actually. Nothing to fear. All is well.
Existence is only a mid way, once it ceases we will naturally go back to origin!!!
Purana describes that the entire Earth dissolves in the final deluge also called Pralaya before being burnt to ashes by the God of fire. Naturally no physical being can be alive but the accumulated tendencies of the Jiva persists and will be reborn once the Creation starts again…
What a deluge, what a delusion.

but i can imagine that the queue of 6 billion plus would be the longest one yet for Dear Amma!
Well….. who knows? What is beyond will always be. I can not imagine such thing as the earth suddendly disappearing ….it’s tooo much… i don’t Know!
When i was small, i used to imagine such things like – if there was nothing, then what would it be like. But when i met Amma, i got my answer that there is actually nothing i.e. our real nature. Everything that we see i.e. the outer world is only seen by these eyes. In reality, whatever i was imagining was my own self. So, if we remain in that with Amma, and earth ceases to exist, we will remain the same. Though it will take us time to realise this.
This is beyond imagination…I think the consciousness which presides in each and every object in earth, will remain……..the earth may take another form…Amma knows!
I will suddenly cease to exist, and that will be what exists after that…
billions of souls in physical forms will have the same experience…
It will be really fun, coz most of us are familiar with that experience (the experience of existing without a body). somehow we have forgotten it. it will be an opportunity for us to experience that again. 🙂
AMMA is there to take care of everything, shristi will end and we will all merge in AMMA as everything on earth is within AMMA. A new seesion will start as Satyug

Silence? Yes it maybe …Soul remains one..there is many though.
Soul (that which exist in every physical form and that which is the same )will merge with Paramathma.Athayathu Paramathmavil chaennu layikunnu.
The billions of souls would immediately realize that the Earth was not under their control. A couple of hundreds would instantly become the Lord Himself, and thousands would go to their ishta devata’s loka for vacation. The rest like a hungry person whose food plate is suddenly taken away before getting his/her fill, would fight to get the plate back. Pulled by the latent tendencies and desires to the Earth they would start fervently praying to the Divine Mother, whose Embodiment the Earth was.
The human souls would pray: ‘O Divine Mother, the Mother of all existence, we will promise You this time that we will do Your will alone, but please give us back the Earth! We will take care of nature and even of the rocks and rocky mountain. We will not produce anything that would harm Your Creation. We will become the worshipper even of an atom seeing You in it. Be sure we won’t split its heart never again! And instead of drilling holes into your skin and spitting on it, we will moisten it with our tears of love to You. We will see everybody, human and animals, as our sisters and brothers, mothers and fathers, even the inert things we will accept as our siblings, and even the deadliest bacteria or virus will be nothing but a distant relative coming to see us. But, O Divine Mother, please, please, give us back the Earth!’
And the souls of animals and nature would pray: ‘O Divine Mother, the Eternal Mother and Father of ours, what did we do wrong that we too were punish by the action of human beings, the only reason for the Earth to disappear just so? O Divine Mother, forgive them, forgive all souls of human beings, including the unborn and already dead, and give us all back the Earth, O Divine Mother!’
The whole Cosmos would vibrate of these fervent prayers until the Divine Mother would out of compassion finally give the Earth them back again. And then….
well, Amma says the Earth will be fine, Mother EArth is raging and needs help, but She says there is no need to worry. there will be small explosions here and there, but there is no need to worry about the world ending. Amma is here to protect all of us.
Earth and worlds are creations due to the desire of the mind. By the earth disappearing, the mind is not going to stop desiring. New earths/worlds will be created and enjoyed by the minds that want it. Of course this is all happening due to the Grace of the Divine.
What will happen is what they believe will happen.
At the time of dissolution, at the cosmos level, all of us has to go to our original staying place (Swadhamam). The original place from where we manifested. Nothing to worry.
