  1. For some reason i was sad day before yesterday. as i clicked amritapuri.org, there was Amma’s message saying “By being unhappy you stop the flow of life. so be open and happy, and God will come more into you”. i could feel Amma’s message for me. immediately i started to feel happy and resolved not to feel unhappy again.

  2. AMMA’s message is just before our eyes, only to obey and clear the way for the next moment. Her guidance is beyond space and time constraints which we must obey in scientific inventions or discoveries. Oh! MA, You are always with us in all moments of life.

  3. I played like a child yesterday with a little child. That was a lot of fun! It felt very light and alive. The mother of the child said: This lady is going crazy. Is expressing oneself in joy called craziness?

  4. Every decision i wanna take, or every action i wanna do, i always ask myself first: did Amma teach us something about it so i dont make any mistake?
I dont recall the “recent” incident, its an ongoing procedure and continued lifestyle…

  5. i went for morning early archana in the main hall and try to remember her by bowing down to each object i saw and also giving a smile to whoever i see, no matter whether they return it or not… 🙂

  6. seeing amma in everything u see and do and being affectionate to all.
loving all, serving all without attachment.

  7. Amma says share all your problems only with God and He will take care of you. Whenever I’m in trouble, dilemma, or weak, I meditate on Amma’s form, mentally surround myself with Her energy. Last week I suffered excruciating lower back spasms, could not move at all. I needed to go to the bathroom. I prayed to Amma and started to move repeating Amma, Amma, Amma, after which I don’t remember how I got up and came back to my bed.

  8. i don’t know what teaching of Amma I put into practice…
but whatever i do i think of Her all the time…
i feel that, seeing and feeling Her in everything-“gurusmarana”-is the best practice…

  9. What Amma taught me and is still teaching me all the time is awareness! I feel my mind and soul have expanded. I can see and feel things I ignored before though they were all the time there… Amma has taught me that even in the midst of sorrow and disasters, there is always something positive to give and to reach for. My attitude has also changed. I have learned with Amma not to judge, but only to love with compassion, and most of all to forgive…

  10. Coming home from work one evening about few weeks ago, I picked up a hitch-hiker. The hitch-hiker told me that she was from Santa Barbara and that she had nowhere to go. She asked me if she could spend the night over. Reluctantly, I took her home. I made her food & served her the best I could. When I dropped her off by the bus station the following morning, she thanked me and told me that she enjoyed her stay. She had a picture of Amma with her although she’d told me that she has not met Amma. I felt like Amma Herself had come to visit me in the form of the hitch-hiker. I felt blessed and full of joy!

  11. Amma say:- …when one pours out sorrow or sadness to a higher reality or God, it transforms into the pure energy of love. Some amount of suffering will be there in life, but the real purpose of spirituality is to learn how to handle suffering with grace, ease and a positive attitude…” This is what helped me get through caring for my husband who suffered from lung cancer and passed away on March 19th 2009. With Amma’s grace and love and the love of our Toronto Satsang family and friends, we have surrendered to Amma to take care of my husband’s soul.

  12. My Divine Amma has changed my life since 2008. It’s my daughter’s marriage time and everything is being handled by my divine mother. With blessings of my Ammachi I have maintained a zero level existence and the things are flowing well beyond my expectations. I love you AMMA. Always love me as you do.

  13. I took the recent new year’s day as a new beginning. I have thrown out the old and rung in the new – lots of changes. I am alert to my conscience, that is Amma’s whispers. Quickly I take the hint and do as guided. One thing I work at is working hard physically and accepting whatever comes my way. Earlier if people asked me to smile I wanted money for it, now I am giving it for free.

  14. One of the hardest things for me has to accept situations as they are. With Amma’s outpouring of love however, I have started my journey on acceptance. I now try to see the positive in the situation I am in, rather than my earlier pattern of doom. My husband recently was laid-off and I have been practicing acceptance and surrender in this situation and seeing how to handle the present rather than brooding on worrisome thoughts.

  15. Amma has changed my life since 2005.
Amma has taught me not to judge the people or any living being by appearance, should see the good in all. Serving all without attachment. Now, everything happens in my life well beyond my expectations. I love you AMMA. Always love me as you do. Without you life is like dry leaves. Don’t leave me.

  16. Two days before, all of a sudden the light went off in our office [rarely happens in UAE]. We were worried and standing outside of our office complex. I thought, why worry, Amma is always there with us. Went to my office and started writing “Aum Amriteswryai Namh” in my dairy. I was very much sure that the light will come before I finish the page. The light came well before that. Amma Sharanam.

  17. restarted getting up at 4 for doing archana and other spiritual practises. Also bought a new piggy bank to keep some money aside for the poor and the needy.

  18. Maintaining a open and sincere heart at all times and being fearful to commit even slightest mistake. Accepting even the smallest form of ‘seva’ as an opportunity and to perform my ‘dharma’ with sincerity and expect nothing in return. I surrender to Her lotus feet.

  19. I was so sad when i learned that this year Amma was not visiting her Mumbai children. But when Swamiji visited on 20 and 21st March (by the grace of my Lord i was able to attend both programs of Swamiji) i had come to the conclusion that we should be able to see or feel or enjoy Our Amma in her most senior disciple. In the second day program, swamiji ‘brought’ Amma to the Nerul Ashram with the Matarani bhajan, and thus installed the murthy of Goddess in the heart of each and every devotee present.

  20. tried to organise a project for poor people.
Idea was great, but low success 🙁
but it was the first time, next time will be better I’m sure 🙂

  21. One important thing in life, as Amma always says, is about seeing things from a witness angle (Sakshi bhava). Every time I hear or see things around me, I am trying to think deliberately that it is not affecting me, either way. It is hard, but I hope if I practice, practice, practice it might come automatically in the future….may be(?)….I really wanted, though!
