Q135: Blue color?

“What does the blue color symbolize to you? What feelings does it bring up?

  1. When I see a blue colour I see my divine MAA as Sri Krishna. I see my divine AMMA in every colour.

  2. Blue colour symblolizes the sky, clear waters, God energy, Krishna, Shiva, the blue pearl and the end of a tunnel. It makes me feel thanda, thanda, cool, cool and hopeful.

  5. also my favorite color. amma once told that blue is the color of love. blue is also the color of the third eye.

  6. I really like the color, because it comes in many shades that can represent something. Light blue makes me think of calmness and peace. Vibrant electric blue makes me think of vibrant and exciting things. I love all shades of them! Such a beautiful color. The color of the ocean, the sky…. <3

  8. Light blue to me always symbolizes sky. A little more darker it’s Krishna and dark blue is Western ghats when looked from a far distance. This questions brought to my mind a whole lot of memories of my childhood days.

Blue also takes me to the memories when I used to stand on the terrace of my house in Palghat and stare at the western ghats at the back drop of coconut trees.

  13. Blue is the colour of sky which is omnipresent analogous to Krishna whose colour is blue and is omnipresent. Blue is the colour of coolness.. It soothes one’s mind and feels heavenly.

  14. Blue is the color of Shri Krishna. This color also makes me feel patriotic since the Chakra in Indian flag is blue.The color is hugely represented in dress code for most of Indian athletes like cricketers,hockey players and many more. Blue also represents the vastness of the blue sky & sea.

  16. Krishna :). I had a dream once, before meeting Amma. Krishna was my ishta devata, I was in trivandrum and Amma was coming to trivandrum for the brahmasthanam programme. My father had threatened me not to go and meet Her, so with lot of pain i didn’t. And during night when Amma reached trivandrum i had a dream: an old woman came and told me that Amma is calling me and i went with her, she took me to a place where Amma was sitting and i prostrated before Her, when i got up Amma was standing and Her color had turned blue, the blue of Krishna and i knew that She only came as Krishna…..

  17. Blue to me is the color of the sky and the ocean. It is also the color of the sari Amma wore in one of the first few Bhava Darshans. So it is extra special. A cool color, it evokes a sense of peace in me.

  21. Blue is the color which denotes my beloved Krishna,and Sree Rama. The eyes of my Lord Shiva is like Blue Lotus petals. Blue color represents vastness. eg.The Ocean and sky. So it stands for eternal Truth. The Poets always use the Blue lotus to describe the beauty of Gods and Goddesses.
