Resident s of Delhi’s Mayur Vihar Phase-3 woke up to a surprise event on the leisurely Sunday morning of March 6, 2011 when ABC volunteers once again joined hands in the second phase of the Clean India drive in the Capital.

This time the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi, Smt.Shiela Dixit was there and other dignitaries like the Delhi State Minister A.K.Walia; Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister, Shri T.K.A. Nair; Union Minister for Agriculture Prof. K.V Thomas.

Shiela Dixit inspired everyone with a delightful speech.She stressed the role of public and impressed upon the absolute necessity of people’s participation.

Nearly 400 persons from all walks of life participated in the campaign and they made it a great success.

MAM Delhi is geared up for more such cleaning initiatives in future as well with involvement of even larger number of citizens.
