Amma spoke movingly about the importance of cleanliness in public life. Many of the local Amrita Vidyalayam students were given handkerchiefs as part of the Amala Bharatam Campaign.

Many of Amma’s Amdavad children took Amma’s call to heart and could be seen actively participating in the cleaning the premises. Of course, they felt much inspired by the peerless example of ABC members.
